Meeting Upper Class Thai Girls

Meeting Posh Thai Women

I’m a Canadian. When I was 30 years old, I visited Bangkok for two weeks in March 2018.

Every day in Bangkok, I walked a lot, around 20 kilometers or more. I went through places like Thong Lor and Sukhumvit to explore.

Along the way, I kept an eye out for where the middle-class Thai people spent their time, and I would join them to get a glimpse of their lives.

Finding The Non-tourist Places Of Bangkok

One night, I decided to check out a bar where mostly young Thai professionals hung out. I felt a bit out of place there, being a brown male, and I definitely stood out in the crowd.

While having a drink at the bar, a Thai woman struck up a conversation with me. She introduced herself as Lily and mentioned that she worked in real estate.

We got along well right away, talking about our travels, music, and staying healthy. I got her phone number, and we met up the next Saturday

By the end of the day, we had walked a total of 54 kilometers together. We explored a big part of Bangkok, and Lily was surprised by how many places she didn’t know.

We stopped for drinks at a popular pop-up bar under a bridge and even met some soldiers who had just finished their military service.

We also enjoyed some drinks in front of a convenience store run by an older lady near Chinatown.

It was obvious that Lily wasn’t used to this kind of adventure because she usually carried herself more like a mature professional, despite her actual age.

Watching her interact with Thais from different backgrounds and with tourists, whom she said she wasn’t very fond of, was something I found funny.

She really started to have a good time.

As Lily began to relax and have more fun, we bumped into some of her co-workers in Thong Lor that evening.

I had no clue just how successful she truly was until I met her colleagues and her assistant.

When we shared the details of our day, they were amazed that she had done all those things and probably shocked that she was spending time with a tourist like me, jokingly calling me a “dreaded tourist.”

Sad To Say Good Bye

When my time in Bangkok was up, I felt genuinely sad about saying goodbye to her because we had developed a strong connection.

She became emotional as she shared that she had never felt this way about someone before and was really glad to have met me.

I really wanted to stay, but I knew I had to leave. Since then, we’ve stayed in touch, and I’m happy to hear that she’s now dating a great guy and enjoying a wonderful life with him.

I suspect she’ll be getting married soon, as she’s hinted at it, and I’m genuinely happy for both her and her partner.

Nonetheless, I can’t help but wonder if we could have had a wonderful life together if I had somehow stayed in Bangkok.

Maybe I’m just being a bit unrealistic in my thinking.

Either way, the memories of the time we spent together will always be cherished by me. I thought I’d share my experiences with you and your audience, as most stories are nightmare bar girl stories. Thanks
