I Thought She Told Me That She Is A Ladyboy

Misunderstand A Thai Girl

I first arrived in Thailand in 1995 as a 25-year-old from the United States.

After a wonderful first trip and the culture shock that comes with visiting Thailand, I would come to Thailand every chance I got.

Here is a memorable night with a friend who brought me to Thailand a few years later in 1998, named James.

Hard Rock Cafe Was The Place To Be

James worked in Thailand for an American company and had an apartment in Bangkok off Sukhumvit Road.

We both loved Thai food but enjoyed some Western food and Western music every now and then.

One of our favorite spots we liked to frequent was the Hard Rock Cafe at Central World Square.

Steak, wine, and live music would always put us in a great mood.

Dancing (Badly) With Thai Girls

On this night, there was a group of Thai girls sitting next to us.

Both James and I liked to practice our Thai, so I’m sure we said something stupid and incorrect to get their attention.

The next thing I knew, we were all dancing together in one big group.

Now, neither one of us guys could dance worth a lick, but alcohol does a great job of bringing out the “I don’t care what I look like” attitude when pretty ladies are around.

Inviting The Girls To The Hotel For The After Party

After everyone was exhausted from dancing, we invited the girls to James’s apartment to continue the night.

On a side note, Thailand has totally ruined the song “Hotel California” by the Eagles for me.

Every time I went out, I would hear that song at least 20 times.

Back at the apartment, the girls introduced us to a Thai card game called Pop Deng.

Both of us enjoyed playing cards, so they taught us how to play and let the games begin, along with the drinking.

Of course, we both lost, but we were having such a great time that we didn’t care.

Did She Tell Me She Is A Ladyboy?

The one girl I was attracted to was a petite girl named Noy.

None of the girls spoke good English, and we both spoke just a little bit of Thai, but that was part of the fun.

Noy and I connected and started getting close as the night continued.

We both had been constantly drinking, and one thing led to another.

Noy and I ended up in my room.

Now, keep in mind, I’m totally into girls only.

I love Thai ladies.

We were heavily into the bedroom fun session and had progressed to third base when Noy grabbed my hand, looked at me, and said, “Neumann.

What? What did I hear? Did she say she’s a man? My hearing is not great, but Noy once again said, “noi man.

All of a sudden, my head began to spin, and I got really dizzy.

I was on the verge of throwing up.

I did not know what to say, so I just nodded in confusion, lying next to Noy, totally deflated after an epic night.

Noy now went to sleep, and I was in a state of disbelief.

I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night.

The Next Morning and No, She Is Not A Ladyboy

The next morning, I told James the story when he got up, and I went back to bed.

When Noy left, James’s Thai was better than mine, and he had decided he would figure this story out, as he too thought Noy was all woman.

When I woke up, James had a big grin on his face and told me that it was that time of the month for Noy and she was 100% a woman.

We both laughed as this story will be told for years, and I was very relieved that Noy was all woman.

The fun of misunderstanding Thai women

Now in 2023, I still have plenty of misunderstandings with my current wife that usually end up in a silly argument.

How many of your listeners have had a similar situation with a lady or an experience? I am sure many.

For your information, I’m not sure if Noy still wanted to have bedroom fun that night, as some girls do and others don’t, but with my reaction, she would have thought, “Oh no, he is horrified that it is that time of the month, and it’s not going to happen,” and we went to sleep.
