Pattaya Massage Shop Trouble

I’d like to share a recent experience from a 9-day trip to Pattaya that I completed in December 2025. On the second day of my trip, I went to get a a massage on a soy right next to my hotel, the LK M Empress. The shop had three middle-aged and very unattractive massage therapists sitting out front on the patio area adjacent to the street. The older women were flanked by three much younger and much more attractive girls seated next to them. I picked one of the younger attractive girls, told her what I wanted, a private massage, and the older manager who heard me stood up and communicated what I wanted to the girl. The manager then told me in clear English that the girl I picked was new to massage and didn’t speak English. But the manager offered and I agreed to a reasonable price for the service. The girl I picked was named Bee and she had a big grin on her face after the manager told her what I wanted and the price. Bee and I walked upstairs to a room where she and I were alone and she closed the door. Bee watched me undress and lie down face down on the massage table. She started massaging me. It was one of the worst massages I’d ever had in my life. Rather than feeling like a massage, it felt like somebody rubbing suntan lotion onto me. I looked at her and she kept saying, “Sorry, sorry.” Which is one of the few words she knew in English.
I realized I was not going to get much of a massage. So, I asked her to just massage me as best as she can. She was very pretty and had a sweet and innocent face. I asked her how old she was and she told me she was 25, though she looked younger than that. Because she was so pretty. After she finished the massage, I did something I almost never do in Thailand, which was to kiss her. She kissed me back. After kissing for a little while, I got up and I had a shower. After dressing, I paid Bee and we exchanged line IDs through Google Translate. I asked her if she lived at the massage shop and she said that she and the young girls lived there and all their clothes were there upstairs. In a few minutes, she and I were dressed and walking down the stairs to go to the patio chairs where the manager and the two older women sat outside next to a rack of sandals and shoes belonging to the girls and to the customers. Bee gave me a little bottle of water and went back upstairs to clean up the room we had just used. I gave the manager 300 Bart for the massage. While I was putting on my shoes, the manager asked me how the massage was. I told the manager honestly that the massage wasn’t that good.
She translated what I said to her two older friends sitting beside her. They all laughed hysterically and the manager raised her hand to give me a high five, which made me laugh hysterically as well. That was the first time in over 20 trips to Thailand over the years that a manager had ever given me a high five. Later that day, I messaged me online and told her that I’d come back another day. She must have been using a line tied to English translator because although she couldn’t speak English, her messages back to me were clear and in English. She said, “Come back.” The next morning, after breakfast at my hotel, I went to Fitness 7 near my hotel. After the gym, I went to Villa to buy some toiletries. Bee started texting me. She told me that she slept at the shop and I figured she must have just woken up. Within a few messages, she got inappropriately familiar saying things to me like, “I love you. ” I figured she was using a translator app and was just trying to get me to come back to her for a second round of massage for both of us. I was kind of bored, so I asked her how much I would have to pay for her to have a night off and spend the evening with me. I told her that I would take her to a nice dinner, then we’d go to listen to live music and she could stay in my hotel with me overnight. I told her I would pay for her company. She went and asked the manager and a few minutes later came back to the chat and said it would only be 500 Bart.
I said, “Okay, I’ll pick you up at 7:00 p. m.” after paying the 500 Bart to the manager. A couple of ma minutes later, she passed and she came back to the chat and said, “Can you come by and pick me up now?” It was only noon and I didn’t really feel like having her with me all day. So, I replied, “How about I pick you up at 5:00 p. m.?” A couple of minutes passed and she came back and said that she had spoken to the manager and the manager would release her now at noon if I came with the 500 Bart. She said that if I could not spend time with her now, she would go to her friend’s condo in North Pattaya and wait for me until I was ready to have dinner. I was hesitant because I knew she might skip meeting me later after I paid the 500 Bart, but she kept texting me as though she was desperate to have the day off. I finally relented and walked over to the massage shop. Outside the shop, Bee was waiting for me with a big grin on her face, and so was the manager who had given me the high five the night before. I told the manager that I was there to pay the fine to give Bee the day off. She smiled, took the 500 BART from me, and told us to have a good day. Bee and I got on a BART bus and headed to North Pattaya, waving goodbye to me as the covered truck pulled away.
During the day, she messaged me a picture of herself with a friend who was prettier than she was. She asked me to come to North Pattaya to have dinner at a Thai restaurant there. I checked the reviews for the place she suggested and I saw they were only 2. 9 out of five on Google Maps. I messaged her and said the place had bad reviews and that we would eat at a nice outdoor restaurant on Beach Road that I had been to before. She kept trying to get me to come up to North Pattaya to go to the 2. 9 rated restaurant. I figured it was a place where she would get a commission for ordering a bunch of overpriced food and she would give the leftovers to her friend who had the nearby condo. After a couple of messages back and forth, I told her that we both lived in Central Pattaya and that we’d have dinner in Central Pattaya at a better restaurant. She finally relented and said she would meet me in Central Pattaya for dinner at 5:00 p. m. I chose an Indian restaurant rated 4. 9 on Beach Road that was convenient for both of us and one and I had been to a couple of times and I found the food and service to be excellent. I showed up at 5:00 p. m.
, grabbed a table, and started reading the paper on my phone, prepared for be to show up late, as one could only expect from a 25-year-old Thai working girl. To my surprise, she was only 5 minutes late. She sat down at the table with me and asked me to order for her. She said she wanted a steak, but didn’t noticed when I ordered a lamb dish for her. I figured she’d probably had no idea what a steak looked like or tasted like. Plus, I didn’t feel like explaining to her that an Indian restaurant would not have steak since cows are sacred in India. Her eyes were red as though she had been crying, and she looked very sad. Through Google Translate, I asked her what was wrong. ready for her to put about my not agreeing to go to the poorly rated Thai restaurant she wanted to visit. She took out her phone, showed me a line message in Thai, saying that her boss had fired her. I was shocked and said, “What?” explaining that the manager and I had agreed that she could leave if I paid the 500 Bart. She said that the owner of the shop had called and found out from the manager that she had left the massage shop with me. The owner was supposedly upset and said that he didn’t hire her to leave with customers and subsequently sent her a message firing her. When our meals arrived, she ate some of the lamb and rice picking at the food after she was halfway through it. She said that she was upset and had no appetite.
Bee Rose And A Bad Story

During the meal, I began feeling a sense of dread, thinking, “What have I gotten myself into?” She was a massage girl who was very bad at giving massages. She probably had little money saved. The only place she had to sleep was at the shop, and all her clothes were there. This was only the second day of a 9-day holiday for me and Pattaya, and I thought I was going to be stuck with a working girl who didn’t speak English. I told her during the meal that after we finished eating, we were going to the shop to talk to the manager since we had to go there anyway to get her things. I told her that we’d have a good time that night, that I’d pay for her for her company in the morning, and that she could stay with me for a few days until she found somewhere else to stay. She told me that she would stay with me that night, but didn’t want to go to the shop because she was upset. I wanted to go to the shop right away, but after bringing it up a few times, I finally agreed that she could go by herself the next day and talk to the manager and the owner. We finished the meal and walked up to Lisa on the beach in single file with her walking behind me so we could listen to live music. We got a table by the stage at Lisa’s and were only we were the only ones there for a while since it was only 7:00 p. m. She looked upset, so I went back to her employment problems and asked her what she wanted to do next. She said she would try to find a job at 7-Eleven and would have to find a room to live in. She asked me if I would pay for her first month’s rent and the security deposit on a shared condo. I asked her how much that would be. She said she didn’t know because she hadn’t found a place yet. I said, “Well, since we’re waiting for the ban to start at 8:00 p. m. , why don’t you call some places now?”
She opened Thai Facebook Marketplace and started calling some places. Several people answered during the hour she spent calling and she so showed me some of the rooms pictured in the adverts asking me if I wanted to go with her to the ne the next day to look at some of them. I said we could talk about it in the morning. The band at Lisa started playing 80s rock at 8:00 p. m. and they were pretty good. We ordered drinks and listened for a while cheering for the band between songs. At 1000 p. m. , which was a early night for Pattaya, she said she wanted to leave. So, we started walking back to the LK the Empress. When we got to the hotel, she gave her ID to the front desk. She asked me if I could give her the f first month’s rent and deposit for a room before I slept with her. And I told her I wouldn’t, especially as she supposedly hadn’t found a place yet. When the lift arrived in the lobby, I got in, but she declined to enter. I got back out and let the doors close behind me. Through Google Translate, she said, “Pay me first and I will keep you company on another night. ” She told me that she was tired and wanted to go back to her friend’s condo. Not feeling like arguing about it, I told her that we would meet another night, but I would only ever pay her in the morning. With that, I walked her back to the front desk to collect her ID. Once she got it, she walked straight past me as though I were invisible and walked right out of the hotel.
There was no thank you for the evening or see you later. She simply walked out of the lobby door. It was still early in the evening and I had to know whether she was telling the truth about getting fired. So, I walked a few minutes to her massage shop where the two middle-aged ladies and the manager was sitting on the porch. I sat down next to the manager and I asked her if Bee had been fired that day, telling her the story Bee had told me. The manager laughed and said, “She’s lying. We didn’t fire her. We told her that she has to improve her massage and we want her to get up an hour early every day to practice massage on us. She starts work at 1:00 p. m. She will start practicing with us at noon. The manager paused and continued. All the customers say the same thing as you. She is no good at massage. The manager said that she was sorry Bee had lied to me, but she couldn’t give me my money back since I had taken Bee out of the shop. I told her I really didn’t care. It was only 500 B anyway. and I said good night to the manager. Over the next few days, I didn’t say anything to be, but I walked past the man massage shop every day on my way to and from fitness 7. Every day, Bee was there, and every time I passed, the manager said hello to me and pointed at Bee, who was usually sitting in her chair, waiting for her next customer. The manager and her friends never got tired of jeering and laughing at Bee, saying to me, “There she is, or she’s still here.”
Unfortunately for bee, I went up and down that street several times a day. Sometimes on purpose to annoy her and sometimes to get to fitness 7 Villa Marle or one of the other several good restaurants nearby. Whenever I passed B, if she wasn’t upstairs with a customer, which was usually the case, she would roll her eyes at me and the manager and stared down at her phone pretending to send a text message. I thought it was unfortunate for her that she tried that trick on me on the second day of a 9-day trip to Pattaya rather than on my last night. After a few days of passing her several times a day while she wanted for c waited for customers at the massage shop, I went to a shop about 10 doors down from bees and I had an awesome experience with a girl giving me a massage there. This time the girl and I ended up having aerobics in her shop. She was pleasant like Bee had been at first. Just like Bee, we swapped line IDs after the massage. This girl’s adopted Western name was Rose. She was only 21 years old and prettier than the 25-year-old be. While paying her manager, I asked if Rose would be allowed to leave the massage shop in the evening. The evening, she said that she could leave at 8:00 p. m. , but only if I paid 500 B. If I wanted to take her out of the shop all day, it would be 1,000 B. I don’t think Rose quite understood what we were saying, but the manager explained it to her as I walked to the patio of the shop to get my shoes from the customer rack. I sat down and I put my shoes on and Rose came over with a bottle of water to give to me while I did waited. She said to me, “Come back in a tone that I understood to be a question and I told her I would come back.” The next day, Rose messaged me asking me to see her in the shop. I told her that if she was okay with it, I would come by at 8:00 p.
m. , pay her bar fine, and take her from the shop. I told her that we would go to dinner and that I would take her to the Pattaya Jazz Festival through a translator service in line. She told me that she would like that. I asked her how much she wanted to stay the night, and I was surprised when she only told me 2,000 Bart, which was the same amount that Bee and I had agreed to. That night, I came to the massage shop at 8:00 p. m. and paid the 500 bar as agreed. For dinner, I chose a Lebanese restaurant next to Villa Market, partly because going there required us to walk past Bee‘s massage shop. Rose wore a nice black dress and tennis shoes. She looked great, but I felt a little sad as she wore the exact same outfit as the previous night, which made me think she could not afford clothes or something. I thought she must be sending a lot of money to her family. We started walking towards a Lebanese restaurant and within a minute I heard someone say, “She wait for you. You take two girls tonight.” I looked over and it was a manager who had given me the high five a few days earlier. I looked at the manager and smiled. And sitting right next to her was Bee. She looked so angry. I was surprised by her anger. I think it was more that she was embarrassed because of the manager than angry at me. After all, she had a chance to be in Rose‘s shoes, but blew it.
Rose and I had a nice dinner and a nice time at the jazz festival. I don’t think she really liked the music, but she seemed shocked when we were standing at the crowded festival and an audience seat became free and I asked her to sit in it while I stood a few meters away out of the way of the seated audience. Had I not insisted that she sit down, I don’t think she would have sat while I remained standing. In any case, a seat next to her later became free and I sat down with her. After the jazz festival, she and I went back to the LK Empress. Everything was fine. We had a nice shower and aerobics together. In the morning, I took her down to breakfast with me. After breakfast, we walked along beach road and eventually I walked her back to her massage shop where she also lived. She smiled and said something like, “See you later.” before she went inside. For the next couple of days, I went to see Rose, but I didn’t take her out of the shop. She didn’t seem to mind. I noticed that she was popular with customers and she was frequently not outside waiting with the rest of the massage girls. One day I had to come by three times before she was available to see me. In contrast to Bee, a nice bonus with Rose was that she actually knew how to give a decent massage and gave me several normal massages during my stay in Pattaya for which I gave her generous tips. A few days later, I said goodbye to Rose and returned to Bangkok before my flight back to the United States. I told Rose I would see her in 2026 on my return to Pattaya while in Bangkok. I got a text message from Bee out of the blue asking me to loan her money for a room in a condo. My first thought was that she must be joking, but I realized later that she wasn’t. I told her that I had left Pattaya and I left it at that.
Meeting Fawn In Bangkok

My name is Ron, a 69 year old Australian who has been living in Thailand for the last 16 years. I suffered a serious stroke in 2003. It left me paralyzed on my left side, so please excuse any typing errors in my story. I was married to a Filipino for about 19 years from the early 1980s until 2002, but that is another story. This is my Thai marriage story. I met my future Thai wife Fawn, who was 34 years old while I was 44. online the year 2000 and we developed a very good relationship by getting to know each other. I was still technically married at the time but had already applied for a divorce. I flew to Bangkok in late February 2001 and we finally met at my hotel’s restaurant. I showered her with gifts from Australia. We had dinner and a bottle of wine. It was a very nice first meeting and I got her work phone number so I could arrange another date. A few days later, I called her and planned to meet at a hotel on Sukhumvit Road. I don’t remember the name. Maybe it was the Weston. We watched a Thai cultural show and enjoyed some good local food.
Fawn wasn’t a drinker beyond one standard drink, which I thought was sensible. By the way, Fawn worked as a financial risk analyst at an international bank in ASOC and earned quite a reasonable salary. We were bonding very well and I told Fawn that I would marry her one day which brought a blush and a giggle. As Fawn was very conservative in many ways, I was informed that I was the first man to date her. I felt special and rather smug. We chatted nearly every day after she finished work. A few days before I needed to return to Australia for work, Fawn booked a trip to the ancient city via the King’s Summer Palace by Comfortable Coach, returning to Bangkok by boat. It was an amazing day and I realized I was truly in love which I confessed to Fawn. This quite surprised her as we hadn’t even held hands in public because of her shyness and her worry that a family member might see us. At this time I wasn’t officially dating Fawn as far as her family knew. Anyway, on the day I was leaving Thailand, Fawn came to the airport to see me off. I had tears developing. Although Fawn was sad to see me leave, there weren’t any tears from her. We chatted every day online and I was planning my next trip to Bangkok in October for her 35th birthday. Fawn booked me into a service department in River City, third world Bangkok. I was so happy that Fawn picked me up at the airport and took me to my apartment. It was very modern and clean and I was very impressed to see a well-appointed kitchen as I am a chef.
I asked Fawn if I could meet her father. So this happened a few days later. He was a highly educated man with fluent English and was welltraveled as an engineer. I invited him to the Riverside bar for a drink. We both had a beer and Fawn had a cocktail. I felt like I was being interrogated about my background and my intentions towards his daughter. All went well and we went home with Fawn. All went well and he went home with Fawn. On the day of Fawn‘s birthday, I suggested we go shopping for a nice dress before celebrating her birthday at a nice city restaurant. And if you know how shopping days go, it turned into a marathon. During this outing, Fawn got a call which left her quite distressed. Apparently, my ex had hacked into my home computer, found Fawn‘s home phone number, called it, and told told Fawn‘s dad that I was still married to her and some other stuff. I calmed Fawn down and I finally purchased a beautiful dress for her to wear that night. Leaving Siam BTS, the heavens opened up. When we got off at her local BTS station where the road was totally flooded and for about an hour, no taxi would pick us up. Finally, we got one and proceeded to my apartment.
Before we got out, I asked the driver if he could pick us up later that evening for our night out. Unfortunately, he said all the rain was causing flooding and he doubted he would be able to pick us up. So, I approached the in-house restaurant manager to book a table and arrange a surprise birthday cake. Obviously, I did this alone. I also presented a huge flower and balloon arrangement to Fawn, which made her so happy and excited. Later that afternoon, we had a wonderful bubble spa bath together. Afterwards, we went to the restaurant and on our table was a complimentary cake with lit candles. Then, all the staff sang happy birthday. Of course, Fawn was so grateful and had happy tears. I don’t remember what we ate, but I do remember we had a lovely bottle of Australian white wine. The night came to an end with me accompanying Fawn home in a taxi. I forgot to mention that Fawn wasn’t allowed to stay overnight because she didn’t want her father worrying. As I mentioned, they were a very conservative family who frowned upon unmarried couples sleeping together. Well, a few days later, it was time for me to leave again so I could get back to work. But actually, I stayed in Thailand longer than my boss wanted. So, my so-called job had expired. Not to worry, as I could always find another chef’s job easily.
Visa Approval And Australia

Early in 2002, Fawn and her mother came to Sydney and I met them at the airport. We checked into a service department near. That night, I asked them what food they wanted to eat. Funny enough, Fawn‘s mom wanted Thai food. I wasn’t surprised. Luckily, I knew a nice little place within walking distance. Fawn‘s mom was a Thai chef and went straight into the kitchen to help the staff because the cook was only a student with very little experience. The restaurant owner was so grateful for the help. Fawn was very proud of her mother and the evening went really well. Back at the apartment, there was only one bedroom, so Fawn shared it with her mom while I took the sofa. In the early hours of the morning, Fawn quietly came and joined me on the sofa just for cuddles and kisses before returning to bed before her mom woke up. This happened throughout the trip as we traveled by car to Queensland where my mom lived. On the way, Fawn and her mom got to see kangaroos at a wildlife park. We arrived at my mom’s house on the Sunshine Coast on the third day of our travels.
My mom was so happy to see us there as my dad had passed away a few years earlier. Fawn‘s mom insisted on cooking every night. Soon it was time to head back to Sydney for their return to Thailand. Later in 2002, Fawn made a surprise trip to see me at my mom’s house, but this time she came alone. I was so excited because this time I had Fawn all to myself. Unfortunately, her visit only lasted a few days because she needed to return to work. Anyway, 2003 arrived and I went to Bangkok to help Fawn with her fiance visa as we planned to marry in December 2003. I had prepared well for the embassy interview by documenting our communication plus all our chats and photographs together in Thailand and Australia. We arrived at the Australian embassy and we were greeted by one of Fawn‘s old school friends. Although she had very little to do with the visa process, we were interviewed and I handed over all the documents. We were told everything looked good, but the final decision could take 2 or 3 months. I stayed in Bangkok for another three wonderful weeks and after I returned to Australia, I received a phone call from Fawn. She was very excited because the visa had already been approved and was ready to be collected. Fawn and her parents arrived in Brisbane in mid December. Well, a new stage in my life is happening in my life.
A Filipino Teacher Meets A Foreigner

I am a Filipino girl. This is a story from my late 20s. I was interested in meeting a foreign man. So I decided to join a dating site. At the time I was living and working in Myanmar as a teacher. I met a guy from the UK who was in his early 40s. He worked on an oil rig in India. We chatted and decided to meet in person after a couple of months of getting to know each other online. We decided to meet in Kuala Lumpur and then travel on to Langkawi Island. Remember, this was the first time we had ever met each other. I wasn’t sure why I trusted a stranger, but fortunately, I was in good hands. On the first day we met, we of course did some adult intimacy. He wasn’t that good, but he certainly had a great appetite for it. I wasn’t sure if I had made a good impression on him, but I wasn’t a first timer either. Our holiday in Langkawi was cut short when I received the bad news from my family back in the Philippines that my only brother had been brutally killed by unknown criminals.
Obviously, my emotions turned from happiness to complete sadness. He was kind enough to give me 20,000 pesos and book my flight from Malaysia to the Philippines and then back to Myanmar as I hadn’t brought enough money with me for an emergency. At that time, I didn’t have a bank account in Myanmar or an international bank account either. While I was in the Philippines, I didn’t receive a single message from him. And I was truly puzzled as to whether we were still together or whether that was the end of it. A few days later, I was back in Myanmar and back to my normal routine while also mourning the loss of my brother. My British classmate then sent me a message saying he had been busy and hadn’t had a chance to contact me since he was back offshore. I believed him and we continued chatting online and keeping in touch. We then planned our next meeting. This time we’d be in Pattaya. I’d worked in Pattaya as a teacher before, so the place wasn’t new to me. I even had several Filipino teacher friends and colleagues there. A month passed and our second meeting finally arrived. I was perhaps a little naive about how foreigners thought, as he was the first foreign man I had ever dated. I believed everything he said and just went with the flow.
I had a wonderful time. We had a lot of fun and we even met on one of my close Filipino couple friends. The British guy mentioned that he wanted to marry me. So I said, “Sure, why not?” I didn’t have a child. I didn’t have a man. By all means, I was free to enter into that kind of relationship. Needless to say, we went together with my friend to a pat to Pattaya Gem World and he bought me a diamond ring worth 31,000 Bart back in 2013. He posted our photos on Facebook account. His family, including his daughter, were on his friends list. He received lots of congratulations from them on our engagement. After this second meeting, I went back to Myanmar to continue my work. We didn’t really have any plans about what our future would look like. It was more a case of let’s see what happens. One day, I wasn’t sure what prompted me, but something urged me to enter his email address into the Facebook search engine. After all, I didn’t really know this man, and now we were talking about getting married, and even though we hadn’t set a date yet.
Discovering The Hidden Marriage

Oh boy, I was shocked at what I saw in front of the screen. Under the email address he used was a Facebook profile of him with another Thai woman he called Tilac. There were hundreds of photos of them at their wedding ceremony and all their holiday photographs together. I was devastated and thought, “Well, what a joke this is.” I was devastated, but also lucky that I found out before it was too late. I confronted him online about it, and he told me he had been conned out at a 1 million Bart by this woman through the so-called sins, which was the reason he was now looking for another wife. Later that evening, another woman from the UK called me on our landline telephone in Myar. She said a friend had shown her our profile picture on Facebook. She told me she had been ga been engaged to him for 4 years and that they were even planning to get married the same year. Oh boy, he really was a busy man. The woman even asked me if I could forgive him and whether I would take him back. I said, “Of course not. After all, I was free and I simply considered it to be a joke and another life experience.” Looking back, I know I would never have been happy with this man, regardless of whether I had forgiven him.
Later, in 2013, I finished my job in Myanmar and moved to Bangkok. I found a teaching job in a hospital and having lived the best single life I could imagine ever since. However, out of the blue, the British guy contacted me again and wanted to meet me. I said, “Sure, why not?” We met and we ended up having some private time together. We even had private time five times in one day, an experience I can only smile about now. I became a bit of an FBI investigator when it came to his activities and found out he had another Thai lady whom he referred to as just a friend. I later discovered she became the mother of his second child. Our last conversation was when he booked my flights and hotel for a visit to Vietnam. My friend said it was his way of com compensating me for my broken heart. Well, I gladly accepted because by then I’d already moved on. I don’t have a single bit of anger about my experience with him. After all, he was generous. We shared some good laughs and some good private moments.
