Four Men Meet Girls in Thailand Looking for Fun
Story 1: A Retired Traveler Returns to Thailand

I go on holiday every 3 to 4 months. This one is a 5-week holiday, and it’s been the craziest one yet. I’m writing it as I go along. I’m a 65-year-old man, retired and very well-to-do.
I started traveling to Thailand in 1996 and continued until 2011, when the music, drinking, and late nights finally got to me. In 2022, my wife was diagnosed with cancer, and that ended our aerobics classes. I became a 24-hour-a-day nurse, cook, and cleaner. I didn’t mind it, but I wasn’t ready to give up on fun.
So, I started going to Thailand twice a year. In December 2025, I had a chat with a lady, but with 20 phone numbers and only 2 weeks to do as much as I could, she didn’t get picked. At the end of November, I contacted her again and we met in my hotel. She sat on the bed, we talked, and then went out to eat.
When we got back, we had some very good aerobics. I saw her again a couple of times. By the end of the week, I went home and she went on holiday to Laos.
A Thai Relationship Deepens Across Trips

We kept in touch every morning and every night exchanging good morning and good night messages. She told me that she had stopped being with men in July because she didn’t feel safe. She doesn’t drink so she can’t work in a bar. Instead, she was cleaning a bar and a restaurant in the mornings.
In March, I suggested that we go on a two-week holiday to Bali and Singapore. The trip was amazing and I felt like I was falling in love with her. I told her everything about my wife and she was okay with us not getting serious too soon. We even talked about getting married one day.
From March until September, we chatted every day and night and I was very happy that I had found her. By the way, she is beautiful and 30 years younger than me. Every couple of weeks, I was sending her money to help her. I added up all my transfers and they came to about 3,000 US dollars.
I didn’t want to go crazy sending money until I knew I just wasn’t another ATM machine. In August, I suggested another trip this time to Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Dubai for 5 weeks. Why those countries? Because they don’t require a visa for Thai citizens.
In Dubai, I have connections who arranged the visa.
A Health Scare and Falling-Out in Turkey

On September the 1st, she was supposed to go to the airport at around 5:30 a.m. At about midnight, she sent me a message saying that she felt very dizzy and didn’t know what to do. I told her that she might be scared and suffering from anxiety so she should try to relax. She said she couldn’t relax and was going to the hospital.
After 3 hours, she told me that she had been diagnosed with vertigo and had been given some pills. The doctor told her not to fly but she said she didn’t want to miss the holiday. We landed at about the same time and met at the airport baggage claim. On the way to the hotel, I tried asking and begging for aerobics until she finally agreed.
After 5 months of not getting anything, it was amazing. A couple of days later, we did it again. One day, I was asking her to be more affectionate, and she got really mad at me and stopped talking for the rest of the day. She said she wasn’t an affectionate person and that I should know that by now.
I told her that we had about 25 days left and couldn’t go on like this, not speaking to each other. So, we made up that night. Around 9 or 10 days later, I asked her if we could get together, and she agreed. But after a few minutes, I didn’t think I could get to the finish line.
I told her that we should stop and try again the next day. To my surprise, she said, “No, you did it now, and I need 2 more days until I’m ready.” I thought to myself, I’ve never heard of a woman needing 2 days to recover. Men do, but not women. That started a big argument because I felt that after spending so much money on flights, hotel, food, gifts, and bank transfers, I should at least get what I needed.
By the way, at this point, I didn’t think she was sick anymore. This was in Turkey, and 2 days later, we were supposed to go to Kazakhstan and Dubai. I told her that I would buy her a new ticket home, and that it was over between us. She said she didn’t care.
New Companions in Kazakhstan and Dubai

A few days later, when I was in Kazakhstan, I signed up for Tinder, and to my surprise, I got a match. I told her that I was leaving the next day, so if she wanted to meet, it had to be that night. She agreed and told me she would come to my hotel. After the initial excitement, I started to worry that it was too good to be true and happening too quickly.
I checked with Google and ChatGPT to see if it was normal to send one message and have a woman come to your hotel that same night. Google went crazy with red flags and said not to bring her into my room and to notify security, but ChatGPT said that the chats looked normal. I went with ChatGPT.
I’m a risk-taker and a bit of a gambler. She came to my room and we had a great night. She stayed until the morning. I had a few hours to kill at the airport, so I went on ThaiFriendly and found a 52-year-old woman.
She wasn’t pretty, but she also agreed to come to my hotel in Dubai that night. She said she could stay with me for 2 weeks and all she was asking was that I help her as much as I wanted because she would be missing work. So, I agreed. She turned out to enjoy all kinds of aerobics twice a day.
So, it turns out women don’t need 2 days to recover. She also gave me an hour of excellent Thai oil massage every day or two. She even cut my nails. There is no chance of me getting back with a beautiful babe I still love, but who didn’t give me anything back.
So, for now, I’m with this one who gives me everything and more, but isn’t my type. I was getting ready to send the story, but I wanted to add something. I had a lunch meeting today and I enjoyed a nice steak, so I wasn’t hungry. It was almost 8:00 p.m. and she hadn’t eaten since breakfast.
I told her, “Let’s go and eat, but I’m not hungry.” She said, “If you don’t eat, I won’t eat.” It was crazy. I had to keep asking her until she finally agreed. After a week of hardly talking because of her almost non-existent English, we decided to call it quits.
A String of Dates Ends the Holiday

That evening, I went on Tinder and found a pretty Russian woman and we decided to meet the following night. After a couple of drinks, she came to my hotel and we went to bed. We had some action, but because I can’t get to the finish line with a raincoat, it just ended there. I contacted a Thai woman on ThaiFriendly and found someone who worked in a massage parlor.
She said she would come after work at 2:00 a.m., but she didn’t turn up. She promised to come the following night at 2:00 a.m., but she didn’t turn up that night either. The next night, I found another young beauty, 29 years old. We went on a date and for an hour she didn’t stop ordering whiskey and tequila.
After an hour the waitress came over and told me that the bill had already reached $700. I decided that was way too much and ended the night. Before we left, I asked her to take some pictures so I could show off to my buddy. She agreed but only using her camera and said she would send me the pictures.
I knew they were going to be deleted within a few minutes. I had a few more dates arranged, but most of them didn’t materialize because the women were too tired and fell asleep before coming to my hotel. I’m at the airport now heading home.
Story 2: A Return to Pattaya with New Confidence

In short, it was after a long dark period of my life, a failed marriage and business which resulted in me living at my parents’ house and working night shifts as a security guard. I was very depressed back then and some of my choices and behavior were affected by that. The last time I saw some nasty comments about my story with people saying I was a simp for overpaying a working Thai girl when I was struggling financially myself. But people have to understand that sometimes when you were at a low point in your life and have no self-esteem, you value attention and care much more than you otherwise would and you find yourself paying a lot for it.
You see back then it felt like my life was already over and I had nothing to live for even though I was still relatively young and in my mid to late 30s. So yes, on my first Pattaya trip, I certainly made a lot of mistakes. I fell in love, gave girls everything they asked for and sometimes more and generally just couldn’t say no to anything even though I had a limited budget. About a year has passed since then, and I’m happy to say I’m in a very different place now.
Pattaya actually gave me something to strive for, a goal to become the best version of myself if that makes sense. So I got a second job in online customer service I could actually do while working as a security guard instead of watching my phone aimlessly. I started making more money by essentially working two jobs at once. That allowed me to finally clear my debts and move out of my parents’ house.
In addition, I started working out and taking better care of myself all while still listening to your stories and learning about Thailand. After all that, I was finally ready for my second trip which concluded just a few days ago. This time, no Bangkok at all. I went straight to Pattaya.
Having more confidence this time allowed me to be much more measured and avoid being taken advantage of so easily like the last time. For example, I could say no to bar girls dragging me into bars or suggesting high prices that I thought weren’t fair. Walking along Soi 6 was still great fun but it wasn’t as intimidating and I didn’t immediately cave in to any girl who threw herself at me like I did the first time. However, there was one particular encounter that was quite different from most of my experiences on this trip and that is today’s story.
A Soi 6 Encounter in Pattaya

It started like any other day. I went out at around 8:00 p.m. and strolled through the streets without any specific destination in mind. After walking for a while along the beach enjoying the gentle breeze, I found myself quite close to Soi 6. So, I decided to go there not for the first time on this trip.
I was walking confidently along the street until I saw her. It was like she had suddenly appeared right in front of me when I wasn’t really paying attention and I must say she was stunning. A young Thai girl about 170 cm tall wearing a short skirt that definitely didn’t leave much to the imagination. Both her face and her body 10 out of 10 in my eyes.
So, I stood there looking at her face, which was just 10 to 20 cm away from mine, her eyes staring deep into my soul. She didn’t speak, just looked at me for what felt like a long time, although I guess it was only a couple of seconds.
She understood that I was hooked and simply gestured towards her bar and I followed her lead. In the bar, she sat very close to me in a faraway corner. We talked a little through translation app, but I could barely think of anything to say. Normally, in those situations, I was experienced enough to have at least some conversation, even making the girls laugh a little and most importantly being measured with lady drinks and saying not yet from time to time when they pressured me to buy more.
This time, I was completely mesmerized by her presence and beauty and I couldn’t say no to her at all. She took advantage of the situation and managed to run up a large bill in relatively short amount of time with me buying more ladies drinks for her. After about 30 to 40 minutes, I asked about the bar fine and paid the bar. We went outside and started walking towards the beach to get a taxi.
Up until this point, I had already paid a few thousand baht for the drinks and bar fine, but I was so excited. It was like being with a girl for the first time and being 16 years old again with my plan to take her back to my hotel and have a good time. I didn’t even ask her price because I knew I would pay whatever she wanted. I was into her at this point.
However, she had other plans and tried to take me to Walking Street to party. By then, she was already quite drunk from the lady’s drinks I had bought her and I was pretty sure that if we went partying, she would drink far too much and the bedtime action might not happen at all. After paying so much already and having a strong urge, if you know what I mean, I told her that I wanted to go to the hotel first and then we could do whatever she wanted. At that point, she tried one last time.
She wrapped her arms around me and looked deeply into my eyes again trying to make me do what she wanted. It was very very difficult, but I mustered every single drop of willpower and backbone and I had and told her no, we were going to the hotel first. She eventually agreed and that is when the crazier part of the story began.
A Sleepless Night with the Soi 6 Bar Girl

Fast forward 30 minutes, and we’re on the bed in my hotel room. We didn’t shower; we went straight to the action. I’ll spare you the details, but let’s just say it was one of the best times I’d ever had, although it didn’t last very long.
Afterwards, we were lying next to each other for a while. At that point, my brain and clear conscious finally started working again and I noticed that this girl looked as though she had just recovered from an illness. Her nose was running with mucus and she was coughing from time to time. I swear I hadn’t noticed any of it before that.
To make matters worse, she pretty much fell asleep moments later and started to snore and I mean snore heavily. I swear if you’d been in that room with me, you would have thought it was a 50-year-old overweight truck driver making those noises, not a petite smoking hot Thai bar girl in her 20s. So, there I was for what felt like ages trying to fall asleep but unable to. In addition to the noise she was making, I couldn’t stop thinking about catching whatever illness she had.
I still had about a week left of my holiday and I really didn’t want to catch a virus. So, I decided to try and wake her gently. This didn’t work very well. I moved her gently and called her name, but she wouldn’t budge and wouldn’t stop sleeping and snoring.
After maybe 30 minutes of trying to wake her like that, I finally used a little more force to move her and told her that I would like her to go home. I said that I had had a great time, but she was snoring and I couldn’t fall asleep. We had agreed on long-term beforehand, so I told her I would pay her the full long-term price. There were no problems, and I would just rather sleep alone.
I honestly thought that was a very fair offer. I looked at it this way, she was in my room basically working and I was offering her the same money for doing less work. So, I thought it was a good deal. However, she snapped.
She told me she couldn’t go home and that she had to stay there and sleep. In those desperate moments, I even offered her more money just to leave, but she still wouldn’t take it. She turned away from me in bed and carried on sleeping and snoring. Another hour passed like that with me trying to fall asleep but simply unable to.
Her snoring was just too much to handle and I was getting so depressed laying there thinking about my life choices and how I’d ended up with a Thai bar girl snoring in my bed like a truck driver who simply wouldn’t go away.
A Late-Night Meal and a Morning Goodbye

Eventually, I found myself waking her up again and apologizing for asking her to leave. She woke up and immediately told me she was hungry. Bear in mind it was about 2:00 a.m. at this point and she had just woken up after a few hours of sleeping. I saw an opportunity to get her out of my hotel room and I took it.
I figured that once we were outside the hotel, I could just tell her not to come back, gave her the money for her time, and hopefully everything would work out. I would still be able to get some sleep that night and hopefully not wake up sick the next day from whatever she had. So, we went out and she ordered a Grab to take us to a restaurant that was 100% Thai. Not a single foreigner around.
All the menu was in Thai and so on. She ordered about eight dishes. I swear to God, I was thinking to myself, “Oh boy, here we go again. She’s going to extract everything she can from me.” She was eating some nasty stuff like squid and spicy Thai food that I’d never ever seen before.
At the end, to my surprise, she paid the bill herself. I realized that I just wasn’t understanding this girl at all. After the meal, I politely asked her again to go home, offering to pay her the full price plus her taxi fare. But, she still wouldn’t go.
She told me she was only going back to the hotel with me, and I caved in because it really felt like she wouldn’t accept anything else. A little later, we were back in bed and she was trying to initiate things again. Now, picture this scene. This girl had a running nose, she was coughing, her mouth full of mucus from a previous illness, and she had just eaten a load of nasty Thai food, including squid and who knows what else, and of course, she hadn’t brushed her teeth, either.
Despite all that, she was all over me trying to French kiss me and everything else. I was reluctant about any more physical activity at this point, but despite everything, I wasn’t able to resist and we had a second round of aerobics. Afterwards, she almost instantly fell asleep again. And just like that, the same snoring started all over again.
It was 4:00 a.m. and once again, I found myself thinking about my life choices while trying to fall asleep, but struggling because of her heavy snoring. I think I managed about 60 minutes of sleep in total that night, and not consecutively. She woke up at about 11:00 a.m. and guess what? She was in the mood again.
I was barely functioning after two rounds during the night and almost no sleep. I was also less attracted to her by that point, having seen and smelled whatever was in her mouth. So, in addition to the mucus and nasty food, we now had the usual morning breath on top of everything else. Once again, no teeth had been brushed.
Still, she pushed for it, and we did it one last time. Finally, to my relief, she agreed to go home and allow me to get some much-needed sleep. Luckily, I didn’t get sick after that night and I came away with a story to tell.
Story 3: An Early-Morning Visit to Pai’s Hot Springs

I arrived late that evening in Pai, the last stop on the famous Mae Hong Son Loop, a route popular with bikers that winds mostly along Highway 108. I planned to spend one night resting before eventually returning to Chiang Mai. I found a simple room and I slept like a stone. 10 hours on a motorbike makes me happy, but it certainly takes its toll.
Early to bed, early to rise, and by 5:00 in the morning, I was wide awake. The guesthouse had bicycles available for guests, so I climbed onto one and I pedaled out to the hot springs. In those days, Pai was still a small village, attracting a handful of backpackers and bikers who had somehow found their way there. The hot springs were wonderfully basic.
Sections of drainage pipe served as makeshift bathtubs with steaming hot water channeled into them through lengths of split bamboo. When I arrived, two young hill tribe men were standing around watching this strange foreigner inspecting their bathing arrangements. I undressed and lowered myself into the water. What a wonderful feeling it was slipping into naturally hot water in the cool morning air with steam rising all around me.
It was pure bliss. The two young men, who were probably around 20 years old, seemed a little uncomfortable with the situation. Eventually, one of them said something in Thai that roughly translated to, “It’s okay. We’re all men.” Apparently reassured by this, he undressed and climbed into one of the tubs as well.
Just then, a young female tourist arrived on a scooter. She wasn’t American, but she certainly sounded American when she called out, “Hey boys, how’s the water?” With that, she promptly undressed and climbed into the hot spring. You should have seen the expressions on those two young men’s faces. Their eyes were practically popping out of their heads.
Back in those days, during the 1980s, the hill tribe people seemed to live in a very different world. They were shy, curious, and certainly not accustomed to the casual openness of Western backpackers. However, after a while, they began to relax and before long, we were all joking together as though we’d known each other for years. Eventually, the two young men decided it was time to leave.
They climbed out of the tubs, covered themselves with their hands, and disappeared behind some trees to get dressed. A little later, they returned trying their best not to stare, politely said goodbye, and went on their way. I stayed a while longer, and afterwards, the girl and I decided to go hiking along a small creek. Apparently, there was supposed to be a waterfall somewhere upstream.
We thought we’d try to find it. Unfortunately, the farther we went, the more difficult the terrain became, and eventually we decided it wasn’t worth continuing. We turned around, made our way back, and rode into town together where we stopped for lunch. Originally, I’d planned to leave Pai the following morning and ride back to Chiang Mai, a beautiful journey through the mountains following the seemingly endless bends of Highway 1095 until it joins Highway 107, which takes you back into the city.
For some reason, I changed my mind and decided to stay a few more days. Why? I couldn’t really say. After all, a gentleman enjoys himself and keeps quiet.
Story 4: Bringing a First-Time Visitor to Bangkok

This is a bit of a warning about bringing friends to Thailand who have never been before. When an experienced traveler is shown a newbie around, trouble might be in the making. This past January, I traveled to Vietnam with a group of friends to explore Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat up in the Central Highlands. We stayed at a rustic retreat on a coffee farm just outside Da Lat.
It’s a lovely city, and you might consider visiting sometime. After a week in Vietnam, I flew to Bangkok where I was going to meet my best friend of 50 years the following day. He and I had never traveled together before. He started having kids when he was 28 with three different women, and family responsibilities had kept him pretty well occupied ever since.
Just last year, his youngest turned 18 and was more interested in her boyfriend than her father. So, he decided it was finally time for his first real guys vacation ever. I stayed at a nice hotel near the airport and enjoyed the local night market and live band. I had one too many gin and tonics, but managed to stumble back to my hotel.
My pal, let’s call him Mike, was due to land at 11:00 a.m., so I had plenty of time to recover from my hangover. It took him about 2 hours to clear immigration, but when he finally emerged and found me at the meeting spot, we were thrilled to be together in Thailand. We took the airport rail link and BTS to our hotel on Soi 24 in Phrom Phong.
We dropped off our bags, got foot massages, and browsed around EmSphere, where we also grabbed something to eat while we waited for our rooms to become available. After a nap and a shower, we were off to explore. We found a great Japanese restaurant for dinner and then walked all the way down to Nana Plaza. Along the way, I had some fun pointing out the ladyboys hanging around outside a famous cafe.
Mike wondered how I could pick them out. I explained that some were exceptionally beautiful and considerably taller than the average Thai woman. After a couple of beers at the Stumble Inn, we entered Nana Plaza. Imagine the reaction of a first-timer.
We walked all three floors before finding a venue we liked. I explained how these places worked, ladies drinks, dance routines, and the various ways customers are encouraged to spend more money. You know the routine. My sister hasn’t had any ladies drinks tonight or it’s my birthday. Can you help her? This particular club had its own trick, though. Instead of buying one ladies drink, the waitress pressured customers into buying two, a thimble-size shot of tequila and a whiskey soda. Every subsequent drink order was the same combination.
Mike, who was already getting tipsy, wasn’t impressed, especially when the women kept him company and tried to convince him this was perfectly normal. He got up and he left in a huff. My companion also got up and left, and the mama-san marched over with the boys who watched the door, keeping their eyes on me. I knew how serious this could become.
I apologized, immediately paid both our bills, and got out of there. Mike was bent out of shape and rather angry, so I didn’t say anything. We simply walked back to the hotel and called it a night. He didn’t know he’d walked out without paying the bill, or that I covered it until after our trip was over.
A Bangkok Fantasy Arrangement Falls Apart

The next day, we started doing all the normal tourist stuff. By the end of the day, Mike told me he’d watched one of those Bangkok top 10 videos and that I’d already covered eight of the attractions. We started with a walk to find the beat-up VW and chocolate shop, took a hop-on and hop-off river boat, toured Wat Arun and the Grand Palace, and ended up in Chinatown for a great meal. The following morning we decided to explore Phrom Phong area and find somewhere for brunch.
We ended up walking down Soi 26 where Mike discovered a few gentlemen’s clubs. Curiosity got the better of him, so we went inside one to inquire. It was actually before opening hours, but the owner happened to be there. He was an American and invited us into the lobby.
He was a friendly outgoing fellow who explained how the business worked, how he managed to run the place, and even who they had to pay off. He and Mike hit it off immediately, although I wasn’t particularly comfortable with the guy’s gangster vibe. Anyway, Mike had a particular fantasy involving the company of two ladies at once, and he managed to convince the owner to arrange it for him. There was one problem.
The owner actually tried to discourage Mike from going through with it. The women were new, and the owner wasn’t confident that the arrangement would work. The chemistry between them was unknown, but Mike wasn’t listening. An appointment was made for a couple of hours later.
I dropped Mike off and I headed to O’Shea’s for a cider. Not 20 minutes later, Mike and the owner showed up. The deed had not been done, and the owner’s warnings had come to pass.
The chemistry between the women simply wasn’t there and the whole arrangement fell apart before anything really happened. To the owner’s credit, Mike wasn’t charged and he even bought us a round of beers. I told Mike he should have listened to the warnings and he admitted that his excitement about finally fulfilling a fantasy had made him deaf to some pretty sensible advice. No harm, no foul, but I think Mike learned a lesson.
I wanted my best friend to have an awesome time in Bangkok and for the most part we did, but those two incidents put a little damper on things. The rest of our trip took us to Koh Chang for two nights and then Pattaya for another three where things went much more smoothly, but the Pattaya report will have to wait for another day
