Pattaya International Film Festival
Coming up in Pattaya this weekend and the coming week, the Pattaya International Film Festival is back this weekend.
It’s taking place in the 40th of all those under the theme of the cinematic wave.
We can also look forward to enjoying free movie screenings at the SFX Cinema at the Terminal 21 Pattaya Mall and the Major Cineplex at the Avenue Mall, with the highlight being the open-air movies by the sea on Pattaya Beach, alongside a creative market with lots of bargains up for grabs. And best of all, it’s completely free.
Pattaya Sand Art Festival 2026
Something new to check out is the Pattaya Sand Art Festival 2026 after the first sand art festival of its kind in the city, taking place in August on the beach in front of the Central Pattaya Mall.
Lots to see with giant sand sculptures, sand in bottles, and blown sand shows on display at 6:30 and 8:00 p.m. Best of all, entrance is completely free.
Best Buy Fair at Mabprachan Lake
Over at Mabprachan Lake, the Best Buy Fair runs from September 1, bringing seven days of shopping, food, and live entertainment to East Pattaya.
Enjoy huge discounts on brand-name clothing, sportswear, cosmetics, home products, and lots more. Alongside over 150 food vendors, there will also be live music every evening, fair attractions for kids, and special concerts from famous Thai artists.
That’s daily from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Floreale Land by the lake.
European Wine Tasting and Gourmet Buffet
At the Collective on Pattaya Beach Road in front of the Holiday Inn Hotel, the European Wine Tasting and Gourmet Buffet is on Friday, September 4.
It runs from 6:30 until 9:00 p.m., with five European wines to try along with premium cheeses and cold cuts, hot and cold dishes, barbecue and smokehouse favorites, pizza, and much more. There’ll also be live music throughout the evening, and that’s priced at just 1,495 baht per person.
December Night Live Performance
Also on Friday, September 4, back by popular demand, there is a live performance from December Night. That kicks off at 7:30 p.m., but it’s worth arriving early if you’d like to snag a good seat.
