Pattaya’s Hidden Nightlife: Where the Girls Go After Work

When you think of partying in Pattaya, you probably think of the likes of Soi Buakhao, Tree Town, and Walking Street. But recently, I got invited out by some girls to places I’ve never been to before. And these places were packed with Thai girls.
You may have heard of Stonehouse, but most likely not Baekadin. Friendly Restaurant was also mentioned. You might not have heard of this one either.
Friendly Restaurant only really gets busy about 5:00 a.m. and it’s where people go to eat afterwards and continue the party until the early hours. If you go before 5:00 a.m., it’s going to look a little bit dead. But this place is kind of similar to Baekadin.
Tunnel Club and 808 Club on Walking Street

I’m sure a lot of you know 808 Club, but Tunnel Club as well gets missed off on a lot of people’s trips.
This is down the back end of Walking Street and usually gets busy around about 3:00 a.m. until about 8:00 a.m. So, it’s once again another spot where once the clubs close, everyone flocks to Tunnel Club and it’s kind of like 808 in a sense, kind of R&B and hip-hop.
Republic and Karaoke with Golf

“Actually, I like to go to Republic and sometimes karaoke.” “It’s actually really good because it has golf inside. The same room has karaoke and golf.”
Garden 168 Thai Music and Tables with Friends

Garden 168 is a huge find. I didn’t manage to go there on this trip, but I do know that this place, you have to get there before 10:00 p.m. And between 10:00 p.m. and midnight, it gets busiest. And people sometimes are dancing on the tables. They’ve got Thai music playing.
Garden 168 isn’t really somewhere you would go on your own. You probably could, but it’s usually somewhere you go with friends and grab a table, have some beer and some food.
We ended up staying at Satisfy at Myth Night for quite a bit.
Candy Club and JuJu Nightclub on Soi Buakhao

Many people have heard of Candy Club. It’s a popular spot. You can meet many Thai girls in there, and the party goes on until late.
Soon, Candy Club will close, and most people go over to JuJu.
JuJu Nightclub, you would have seen it, but not a lot of people go in there. The reason is JuJu Club gets busy around about 4:00 a.m. And by 4:00 a.m. most people are in Walking Street, quite far away from Soi Buakhao. But JuJu is worth checking out.
JuJu is definitely worth checking out if you don’t really want to go to Walking Street, you want to stay in the Soi Buakhao area, and you want to party until late. But my advice is to come here at about 4:00 a.m.
Area 39 Live Music Near Soi Buakhao

The Excite area that Smile mentioned is worth looking at as well. This is one of those places where if you’re driving to Soi Buakhao, you’ll likely have seen all the flashy glowy lights, but you might not really have heard of any bars in there. Area 39 is worth going to because it’s just a great atmosphere, loads of Thai people, great live music. Area 39 being that close to Soi Buakhao is definitely worth a visit.
Baekadin Late Night Mookata

This is not your normal mookata restaurant. It is packed in there. Mostly Thai people are enjoying food, enjoying music, and enjoying drinks.
It’s a perfect place to come if you don’t like the club atmosphere. You want to party until late. You’ve got people jumping from table to table, talking to friends, making friends. It’s overall just a good vibe.
Baekadin only really gets busy around about 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. And this is usually when a lot of the bars close or they’ve gone for a little bit of a party at, say, Stonehouse.
Then everyone makes their way to Baekadin and they have their kind of set tables. Most of these tables are from separate bars. So these tables are filled with girls from the same bar, mostly from Soi 6.
Most people just order mookata too and share it amongst each other with loads of beer. They do have a normal menu as well with kind of reasonable prices for typical Thai dishes.
Baekadin is a great spot just because it’s off the beaten track. It is very, very busy. Tons of Thai girls. You’re eating and drinking as well and people are kind of hopping from table to table. It’s very normal to just grab your glass, go up to a table, and just say cheers to people as it’s a very social atmosphere.
Yes, there is music playing, and it’s kind of loud, but you can still talk naturally. You don’t have to shout towards each other like in a nightclub.
If I were to recommend when to come to this place, it would be around about 2:00 a.m. Secure yourself a table with some friends or girls that you’ve met. This place is open until the sun comes up, so get comfortable.
Stonehouse Live Music on Walking Street

As you walk into Walking Street, I’m pretty confident all of you have seen the Stonehouse. But I think because the allure of Walking Street is straight ahead of you, not many people turn left and stop instantly to go in Stonehouse; they just continue walking because you’re in Walking Street.
It is worth a stop. Even if it’s just for one beer, this place is packed full of Thai girls. It is packed full of people having a good time.
The band always gets interactive with the audience and the drinks are fairly reasonable for Walking Street prices.
I’ve been to many live venues and most live places are so stupidly loud that you need either to put tissue in your ears or to get some earplugs because it’s just too noisy. I feel like Stonehouse sounds noisy from the outside, but once you’re in there, it’s manageable.
I would personally recommend going to Stonehouse around about 2:00 a.m. because many of the girls finish their shift at around about 1 or 2 a.m., sometimes 3 a.m., and they make their way to Stonehouse.
Most tables are similar to Baekadin, where the tables are grouped by bars. So all the girls from a singular bar would be like, “Hey, anyone going to Stonehouse?” And they would all go together. So that table is likely girls from the same bar.
It’s an easy place to go. And some of these girls really get into it and let their hair down.
