Funeral Ceremony Held for Thai Family of Three Killed Near Pattaya
Friends, family and indeed all of Thailand mourn as a murdered Thai family of three and two young Russian siblings who were brutally killed by a group of criminals during robbery attempts near Pattaya are laid to rest, and final funeral and memorial tributes take place.
At 5:30 p.m. on August 4th, Pattaya City transported the bodies of three deceased and tragically murdered family members, a father, mother and their teen child, for water-pouring funeral rites at Wat Khao Boon Mueang in the Huai Yai subdistrict.
The ceremony took place in an atmosphere of profound sorrow. Relatives, family members and many members of the public gathered to pay their respects and join the traditional rites, united in mourning the family’s devastating loss.
Memorial Tribute Planned for Russian Siblings
Gun Janpalang, a well-known activist who has been helping the family of the victims seek justice, attended the ceremony and served as a co-host of the funeral. He offered support and encouragement to the grieving relatives while closely monitoring developments in the related case.
Meanwhile, tomorrow morning a final public memorial tribute will take place for the two slain Russian siblings at the site where their bodies were found in Huai Yai.
